Auracast vs. Bluetooth Classic
Auracast cannot be used with hearing aids that rely on Bluetooth Classic. Bluetooth Classic is an older Bluetooth standard that is still used by several manufacturers, including Phonak, Unitron, and Hansaton. These hearing aids offer stable streaming and well-established solutions, but they do not support Bluetooth LE Audio and therefore also do not support Auracast.
