The Phonak M Sensor Receiver combines a hearing aid speaker with an integrated heart-rate sensor. Designed for compatible Phonak Audéo Fit hearing aids, it delivers sound into your ear while supporting heart-rate tracking through the myPhonak app.
The receiver uses an 8-pin connection to carry audio signals and sensor data between the receiver and the hearing aid. It is a replacement for an existing M Sensor receiver, so check your receiver type, side and length before ordering.

Select the left or right receiver to match the ear where it will be worn. The receiver is available in lengths 0, 1, 2 and 3. These numbers refer to the receiver wire length, not the dome size.
Choose the same length as your existing receiver unless your hearing care professional has recommended a different fit. If you are unsure, contact us with your hearing aid model and a clear photo of your current receiver.
Matching domes and retention
Phonak 6.0 Vented Clear Domes are designed for Phonak Audéo Fit hearing aids using M Sensor receivers. They are available in small, medium and large sizes. Choose the dome size recommended for your ears and hearing aid fitting.
For additional support, the M Sensor Retention helps keep the receiver and dome securely positioned in your ear.
When might the receiver need replacing?
If the sound becomes weak, distorted or intermittent, first check the dome and wax filter for blockages and follow your hearing aid’s cleaning instructions. If the problem continues, the receiver may need replacing. Other faults can cause similar symptoms, so contact us or your hearing care professional if you are unsure.

How do Phonak Audéo Fit hearing aids measure heart rate?
The Sensor Receiver uses photoplethysmography (PPG). LEDs shine light into the skin, while an optical sensor measures the light reflected back.
Blood volume changes with each heartbeat, affecting how much light is absorbed and reflected. These changes allow the system to calculate your heart rate and display it in the myPhonak app.
Which side and length should I choose?
Choose the same side and length as your existing receiver. Left and right receivers are available in lengths 0, 1, 2 and 3. The length number refers to the receiver wire, not the dome size.

How do I replace the M Sensor Receiver?
No additional tools are needed to attach or remove the M Sensor Receiver. To remove it, hold the connector close to the hearing aid and gently pull it out. Hold the connector rather than pulling on the wire.
To attach the replacement, align the connector with the hearing aid and insert it until it locks into place. Do not force the connection. If you are unsure, ask your hearing care professional to help.
